Resume & Philosophy

Philosophy of Education

We come together in a classroom and are either asked to use our differences or put them aside and work together for a specific outcome. When we use creative outlets with students to show their learning, we allow them to explore the vast possibilities of demonstrating knowledge. In my classroom, I implement life long learning strategies and writing skills to prepare students for college or work ready citizens. In my classroom, students are assessed in a variety of ways to demonstrate their thinking and improve their desire to be life long learners.

St. Therese Chinese Catholic School - Chicago, IL

   Curriculum Developer             

  • Used Adobe Creative & Premier to develop school ELA curriculum around designed curricular goals using ADDIE and SAM frameworks.

  • Evaluated and analyzed quantitative student data to adjust grade-level goals throughout the year.

  • Provided solutions to common issues through training facilitation using Camtasia and Screencastify to onboard teaching teams of new curriculum.

  • Designed virtual Reading and Writing instruction for grades 2 to 5 with Google Suite and Adobe Captivate.
